Join us for Seedtember as we celebrate the power and connectedness of seeds! This Doncaster-wide seed swap invites you all to take part in a greener, more connected future. From Cantley to Carcroft and Moorends to Mexborough, communities last year took part in seed share and swap events and are now sharing the produce they grew as a result!
Whether you're a seasoned gardener, or just starting out, Seed-tember is your chance to harvest, donate, and swap seeds. From fruit and vegetable heirlooms to pollinator-friendly blooms, every seed grown in Doncaster is beneficial to our local biodiversity. By sharing them, we're building local habitats, resilience, and relationships one seed packet a time!
How to get involved:
- Drop off seeds at your local seed library
- Attend a seed sort and share event near you
- Host your own seed share and invite others to join in!
Let's make September a month of abundance, generosity, and growth. A season for sharing, and a future worth growing!
