Doncaster Crisis Accommodation Rethink Mental Illness

Doncaster Crisis Accommodation provides short-term accommodation for people experiencing a mental health crisis. The service has 4 beds, which can be accessed for a maximum of 7 nights, during which time staff will provide emotional and practical support over a 24 hour period to assist people using the service to resolve their crisis. The service works in partnership with the statutory Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.

The in-reach worker facilitates early discharge from inpatient units and support resettlement back into the community. The in-reach workers aim is to meet the variety of support needs people have and provide suitable emotional and practical solutions that meet the recovery outcomes of each individual. A vital part of the in-reach workers role is to work and liaise effectively with partner agencies and other local services.

The outreach worker post provides support for people leaving the recovery house. The outreach workers aim is to meet the variety of support needs people leaving the recovery house have and provide suitable emotional and practical solutions that meet the recovery outcomes of each individual.
