Community Led Support (CLS) sessions continue to be held at venues across South Locality

Throughout the South sessions continued to run and be a vital platform for gaining information, advice and guidance for matters which support residents and the community.

Throughout July, Officers in the Mexborough area have hosted collaborative sessions with the local foodbank, St Leger Homes and Credit Union at Mexborough Business Centre.

These sessions saw a fantastic turnout and agencies come together to share resources, knowledge and to continue to raise awareness of available services.

A resident from the local area who visited advised “It was great to visit and have a meaningful conversation and it’s clear these sessions are making a difference.”

Sean Gibbons, Foodaware captured the spirit of the day with a group photo, later shared on social media to highlight the power of partnership. “It’s always inspiring to see local organisations working side by side,” he said. “The CLS is a brilliant example of community-led action and being here gives us a chance to really listen to what people need and connect them with the right support. It’s a valuable space for everyone involved.”
