Workshops in the Wild
On Tuesday 14th October, Bramworth Road Allotments will host 'Workshops in the Wild' as part of the Remake Learning for Life week, aimed at supporting economically inactive and unemployed individuals aged 16+ to explore new skills and career pathways by engaging in hands-on learning activities. However, it is open to all who may be interested!
Our no-cost event will look to teach:
- the basics of drone surveys
- an introduction to life cycles in ecological studies
- the making of wildflower meadows
- ideas of natural circularity (such as with composting)
- an introduction to dry stone walling
- the correct method of tree planting and suggested aftercare
- crafting hazel hurdles and fencing
- seasonal outdoor cooking essentials
Workshops in the Wild is free to attend and will run from 10am-3pm, and the activities run on a rolling basis so please feel free to drop in at any time!
Cost: free
