Summer FUN Multi Sports Camp
Life is Fitness
The activities that the children will take part in are:
Lots of fun multi sports/skill based games such as dodgeball. Team games such as; Football, Hockey, Basketball, Netball and Tag Rugby. Racket games such as Tennis. Some Striking and fielding games such as Cricket and Rounders. Other activities that the children may not of tried before include; Tri Golf, Indoor Curling and Table Tennis. We will be introducing some team building activities for the children. We have linked up with some specialist coaches who will be delivering Dance, gymnastics, Taekwondo and Boxing. We also have the opportunity for the children to understand more about First Aid as we have a company coming to deliver some training with the children to help with their education in helping others.
The children will also get the opportunity to do some Archery, bench ball, performing arts, and we will be delivering some healthy food/healthy body workshops to help educate the children in leading a positive healthy lifestyle.
To ensure our camp is inclusive to all we work with local external community grass roots providers to ensure specialist Sports coaching, fun activities and performing arts can engage for all abilities. We also have fantastic links
within the community to signpost children into community provision.
The sports sessions and activities that we will deliver will help support the children’s daily steps requirements, create healthier minds and bodies and help develop their individual fitness levels. Some sessions will involve specific
exercises to develop the children’s speed, strength, power, flexibility and stamina, linking to various sports and games that they enjoy.
The rational for the delivery of 5 hours per day is because I am aware that parents from this community/school through previous experiences tend to prefer their children to be engaged in these activities through the full day.
Children will need to bring a Sports bottle, wear the correct footwear and sports clothing to take part in the activities. Any children who have inhalers or any other medical requirements please bring them. Children need to be signed in at 10 am and then on collection at 3 pm also signed out. If any reason you book on and can not make the session you NEED to contact me to let me know as this is a safeguarding matter
