Adult Family & Community Learning

AFCL is a fantastic team of Adult tutors who provide courses and workshops for adults across the City of Doncaster. Courses are delivered in venues in the community so you don't have to travel far.

 

We run community learning courses such as Family History, Basic Digital Skills, Photography Walks for Well-being as well as the occasional art class along with our fantastic Volunteer Passport course.

 

There are Family Learning courses that enable parents/carers to support their child's learning as well as build skills and knowledge for the adults too - these are lots of fun!

 

We then have Functional Skills accredited courses in English and maths for those who don't have their qualifications/certificates and need them for work or further training now. We also have a digital skills/IT course called Essential Digital Skills which leads to a recognised qualification.

 

We also offer English for Speakers of other Languages (ESOL) for those for whom English is an additional language.

 

Most courses are fully funded so this means they are FREE to attend as long as you are 19+ and live in Doncaster (there are some restrictions).
