Jenny's Story

You may have seen 'Jenny' in our advert. Jenny is a single mum with a young baby. She wants to do the best for her child and herself, but mental health problems such as anxiety, mounting bills and the constant worry of whether she is doing the 'right thing' hangs over her. Even her friends were concerned about Jenny's state, and encouraged her to visit her local Family Hub.

She took the leap one day and popped in for a chat, and what she found was exactly what she needed. Fun and educational activities for the little ones, professional support for her own barriers and other parents to have a chat with when she just needed someone in the same boat as her to talk, laugh and cry with!
