Your Life Community Conversation Points

Your Life Community Conversations Points offer you the opportunity to have an informal, face to face chat with a social care worker in a central location in your community.

Whether you are worried about your own situation, that of a friend or family member, or are caring for a loved one – we can offer a range of ways in which we might respond:

Putting you in touch with other local organisations, charities and community groups

Attending a drop-in event for the latest information and advice

Inviting you for an appointment in the local area, where you can talk to someone in more detail about your situation.  We will do this by simply talking through what is important, what your interests and strengths are and what support, if any, you have in place at the moment.  Then we can look at what you would like to change and work with you to plan how to do that with locally available support.

Invite family carers to a drop in session where they can talk about their own needs, what support they could benefit from and talk to other family carer volunteers.

Drop-In Sessions

We offer drop-in sessions, where an appointment is not necessary, in a number of community venues throughout the week. For details of where and when the drop in sessions are, please see the list below. If you would like to have a private face to face chat with a worker, then you can telephone 01302 737391 and request an appointment.
